Revisit

I haven’t written anything in a while and I’m currently sitting in a BoltBus from Boston to New York City so I figure I’ll kill some time, and maybe talk about something worthwhile (I do have about 4 hours).

I went to BU’s orientation on July 22-24th and I made my schedule. My major’s neuroscience with a pre-medical track. I have a pretty good schedule, I think, except for a 4 hour long lab on Mondays that extends till 9:30.

I’m currently on a BoltBus because I had to attend a seminar on animal training (Institutional Animal Care and Usage Committee) for my job this year. It involves the study of addiction of tobacco and alcohol in rats. I think it’ll be a really awesome job, but the hours might be a little “eh”. I’m not an early morning person. But I think it’ll look good for my resume, so I’ll grit my teeth with my eyes set on medical school.

While we were in Boston in July my parents’ car was broken into. I know it sounds cliche but you never think it’ll happen to you. We spent that day cancellinig credit cards and trying to find a way to fix the car window (it was broken during the robbery).

I don’t know what else to write…maybe one of these days I’ll run into something which will impassion me to write about something worthwhile. Although something did happen in early August which made me do a lot of thinking….I don’t know if I want to talk about it just yet. Maybe another time. I move into my dorm in 2 days. Nervous and excited to be finally starting college. Hopefully a post next week.
